What to wear at each Combat level

Each row is a gear tier. The number under each piece is its main stat: attack power for weapons, protection for shields and armour. "Set" adds up helmet, chestplate, gauntlets, greaves and boots from that tier, before upgrades.

Requirements beyond Combat: swords and daggers need Strength, bows need Dexterity, shields and armour need Defence. Each slot page lists the exact levels.

How gear tiers work

A full armour set goes from 7 protection at Combat 1 to 160 at Combat 70. The step between tiers grows as you climb: the last jump, Combat 65 to 70, adds 35 protection on its own, while the first adds 7.

The official wiki caps Standard and Refined gear at 5 upgrade tiers and Premium and Epic at 10. Every upgrade uses the slot's own stone (Weapon Upgrade Stone, Helmet Upgrade Stone and so on), and higher-quality pieces take more stones per upgrade. The slot pages show the exact cap and stone count the item data gives each piece.
