v0.82.2: high-value trades now need a minimum value in return
High-value items get treated as high risk, so trading them for little or nothing stops working. Players got 48 hours to return loaned gear.
This one is aimed at real-money trading outside the game. High-value and powerful items are now considered high risk, and any trade or market sale involving them has to meet a minimum value in gold, items, or both, the same idea the Pet Exchange already used.
The catch was gear loans: plenty of people lend items through plain trades. The note gave a 48 hour window before the rules kicked in so loaned items could go back to their owners, and said a proper loan system was being looked at with no timeframe yet.
Vendor values were also set to rise based on item tier over the following days, which matters if you price things against the vendor floor.
