How to Get Pets & Companions in IdleMMO

Eggs need incubation before they hatch, and higher-quality pets take longer; exchange and campaign pets arrive ready. Only one pet can be equipped at a time, and an equipped pet adds all of its stats to your character.
Getting an egg from a world boss
- Pick your companion in the egg table and note which world boss drops its egg.
- Open that boss's page to see its next spawn window, then join the fight in game.
- Win the boss loot roll for the egg, then incubate it — higher-quality pets take longer to hatch.
- Equip the hatched pet (one at a time) or level it through battling and hunting.

If you'd rather skip the boss grind, the exchange lists player-sold pets with live prices. The rules that matter: listing is free, each character can run up to 20 listings, unsold listings expire after 90 days, and only the seller pays tax: 15% of the sale price, or 12% with membership. Making a pet stronger
Three systems stack on a hatched pet:
- Levels and evolution. A pet evolves up to 5 times; each stage adds 5% to its chosen stat bonus, stacking to 25% at stage 5. Evolving resets the pet to level 1 but keeps the bonuses.
- Pet Mastery. The skill boosts pet stats from 1% at level 44 up to 20% at level 100. Battling earns pet EXP, Pet Mastery EXP and loot; hunting runs while you idle.
- Stamina management. Stamina only refills through sleep (there is no passive regeneration), so alternate activity with rest. Higher-quality pets spend stamina more efficiently.
