The read
WalkScape's input is steps. Each step feeds the current action and finishing the action pays the XP, so progress tracks how far you actually walked. Idle Clans keeps running whether you move or not. Nothing else in the table matters as much as that difference.
The ceilings differ too. WalkScape runs 12 skills to level 99, after which experience keeps accruing and the level stops. Idle Clans runs 21 skills to level 120 or 500,000,000 XP each. A WalkScape account is finishable on foot; an Idle Clans account is finishable on time.
WalkScape is still in closed beta — an application and an invite, or financial support — with open beta no earlier than Q4 2026, so its player base is small and its systems are moving. WalkScape's starter page stays beta-safe: a step planner and source notes, not a scraped database.
