Last updated: 2026-08-13T01:42:51.559963+00:00Smelting is a crafting skill: feed ore into a furnace to smelt metal bars and earn Smelting XP plus a little Speed XP. Every bar consumes ore (most also need a Coal Ore), so the real profit is what the bar sells for minus what its inputs cost. The table below ranks each bar by XP per hour and by NET gold per hour after material cost, so you can pick the best bar for either fast levels or real profit.
