The four checks this tool runs
Net sale = ask × (1 − tax). Most marketplace sales lose 2%; Cowbell Bag-style trades lose 18%. Set the Tax field to match the item — the visible ask always overstates what you keep.
After-tax profit = net sale − buy cost. This assumes both fills happen: you actually acquire at the bid and actually sell at the ask. If profit is small, the spread is probably noise rather than a flip.
Price = (target profit + cost) ÷ (1 − tax). Work backward from the profit you want to the minimum listing price, instead of guessing and losing the difference to tax.
Bid over vendor = bid − vendor value. When a bid barely clears what the vendor pays instantly, listing to players earns you a wait, not money. Negative means vendor the item.
